The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded Rural Residency Planning and Development (RRPD) Program is supporting the development of new rural residency programs or Rural Training Tracks (RTT) in family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, OB/GYN, general surgery, preventive medicine, and other specialties as determined by HRSA in future NOFOs. Regional Hubs

Each U.S. state is represented by one of the following Regional Hubs.

Eastern U.S. Hub

The UNC School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine provides overall leadership of RuralGME.org and houses the Eastern Hub.

Central U.S. Hub

The Central Hub is anchored in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
